Another component related to the Hospitality and Maritime Training Institute which preceded construction is the Technical Assistance to establish the SVG Hospitality and Maritime Training Institute. This was awarded to Design Collaborative and commenced in March of 2011.

Three contractors, namely Avto Engineering (Bulgaria), Illuminat (Barbados) Ltd, and Boss Pro-Tec GmbH (Germany), were contracted to supply furniture and fittings for the Hospitality and Maritime Training Institute.
