National Land Information Management Project

The Government of St.Vincent and the Grenadines has developed a National Land Information Management system with assistance from the European Union. The need for this project arose in 2003 as Government agencies prepared for the Land Titling Programme under SFA 2002.

The project, implemented by the Physical Planning Unit and the Lands and Surveys Department of the Central Planning Division, facilitated new aerial photos, digital mapping and a Geographic Land Information System. Resources for the project were provided under the STABEX 94 initiative.

The project closed in January 2009 with total expenditure amounting to Euro 899, 220.
