Primary Health Care Improvement Project

Residents of Biabou and Greiggs, two rural communities, are enjoying better health care services today under the Primary Health Care Improvement Project.

This project funded with resources transferred from STABEX 95 at an estimated cost of Euro 900, 000. Some of the resources were used to construct the Biabou Health Centre, completed in 2003 at EC$986, 596; and the Greiggs Health Centre, also in 2003 at a cost of EC$915, 707.

The official opening of the Biabou Health Centre took place in April 2003, while the Greiggs Health Centre was completed in October 2003 and its opening took place in December 2003.
